Dr. Cappatt graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports studies, while minoring in biology. It was during her education and basketball career when she fell in love with the profession of physical therapy. She earned her doctoral degree in Physical Therapy at Chatham University.
Dr. Cappatt is an active member of the APTA, and is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor.
Dr. Cappatt has been practicing physical therapy since 2014, and is a well rounded therapist with experience in multiple different settings such as skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient. She is currently a Regional Director of Therapy for a skilled nursing home group, managing the therapy departments in all of their nursing homes. She has extensive experience in neurological/balance disorders, amputations, strokes, degenerative joint disease, post op surgeries and manual therapy, and is very interested in massage and trigger point therapy. She is passionate about a PT business model that puts the patient's needs first, and it is her strong beliefs for patient centered therapy that led her to Anchor Physical Therapy, LLC.
